About Leapfrog 1.75mm MAXX Brick Filament »
Leapfrog Brick Filament is a unique addition to our MAXX Filament lineup. It has a copolyester base (often used in packaging materials for toughness), integrated with small brick fibers. The result is a material that prints with a sandstone-like appearance and feel. Coupled with low warp properties, the MAXX Brick filament should be considered by those interested in printing large architectural models or landscapes. Please note that while the filament is strong, it does not exhibit strength properties similar to actual brick – rather, the description speaks more to the filament’s brick-like appearance.
Protect your investment in a Leapfrog printer by using the filament best suited for the equipment – protecting your prints from failure and your printer from damage. When preparing your Leapfrog printer (currently recommended for use with the Creatr, Creatr HS, and Creatr XL), Leapfrog recommends that you begin with a starting temperature of 190 Degrees Celsius, and a bed temperature of 60 Degrees Celsius.
Leapfrog MAXX Brick Filament comes in a .25 (kg) bundle, but is not wrapped on a spool. If you would like to print your own spool, consider using this model as a starting point. Please review the user comments in combination with knowledge of your printer, to determine if you need to make any size adjustments prior to printing the spool.
