CreoPop 3D Pen
Each CreoPop ink cartridge includes enough material to 3D print a single 46’ (14 meters) line of plastic!
While several 3D pens are currently on the market, CreoPop is the first to incorporate an LED light source instead of a heating element. As a result, users can turn their ideas into reality without worrying about the high temperature melting of plastics. There are no hot nozzles or unpleasant burning odors, the CreoPop 3D Pen uses a special photosensitive ink that cures and hardens once the built-in LED light source makes contact with it. Simply load an ink cartridge into the pen, charge the battery with the included mini USB cord, and begin creating physical objects with the stroke of your wrist. We carry an array of photosensitive materials that the CreoPop 3D Pen is compatible with, including standard, glow in the dark, glitter, temperature sensitive, aromatic, elastic, body paint, and magnetic inks.
The CreoPop 3D Pen is designed with ergonomics in mind, providing a comfortable grip for long term use. Constructed of metal and plastic, the pen offers space age aesthetics. The unit features a built-in battery, LED light system, electronic control board, ink supply, operating button, and nozzle. About 8” in size, the CreoPop 3D Pen is cordless, compact, and easily transportable for on-the-go creation.
Once the ink cartridge is loaded into the pen, the operator presses the activation button. Ink flows through the unit and as it exits the nozzle, it’s cured by an integrated LED light system. As the user mimics the shape of their intended design, the cured ink becomes hardened and forms its structure. With the CreoPop 3D Pen, instantly create shapes, designs, structures, or other objects while on the go.
Safety is paramount in the CreoPop pen’s design as users do not have to worry about a filament melting process. Children and adults alike can manipulate the pen without risk of burning themselves. The pen is cool to the touch as the LED lighting system hardens ink into plastic once it leaves the nozzle.
Backed by a variety of specialty inks, users can inject imagination and function with their designs. Aromatic ink provides a pleasant smell while 3D printing the shape of a flower. Elastic inks allow uses to create stretchable models for a variety of applications. Magnetic inks give users the opportunity to produce their own line of handmade refrigerator magnets. With conductive inks, easily draw your own circuit board without the need for hot soldering. The wide variety of ink choices makes the CreoPop pen a versatile 3D printing tool.
In 2014, CreoPop successfully launched on Indiegogo, raising over $200,000 due to the popularity of the CreoPop 3D Pen. Dubbed as “the world’s first 3D pen with cool ink”, it’s intuitive and fun for any age group, allowing users to focus on creativity rather than safety.
